My Piece of Learning

The Musculoskeletal System

I chose this piece of work because it is a project that I learnt the most from this month.

I really enjoyed making this slide because it contains information that I am interested in learning about. I also had lots of information that I could put in it from knowledge that I have gained from previous classes.

Whakataka Te Hau

The Karakia goes:
Whakataka te hau ki te uru,
Whakataka te hau ki te tonga.

Kia mākinakina ki uta,
Kia mātaratara ki tai.

E hī ake ana te atākura he tio,
he huka, he hauhunga.

Haumi e! Hui e! Tāiki e!

Translation:
Get ready for the westerly
and be prepared for the southerly.

It will be icy cold inland,
and icy cold on the shore.

May the dawn rise red-tipped on ice,
on snow, on frost.

Join! Gather! Intertwine!

my new years poem

New Years Poem…

With friends and family

Having a barbeque

With the classic sausages and meat patties

Our parents are socialising

After dinner we play a big game of spotlight

We always stay up until midnight

We normally do fireworks on the beach

Everybody has the time of their lives!

JACK AND I

I feel the fresh breeze

Jack and I gallop around

I feel free

Science of Aeroplanes Reflection

Science of Aeroplanes Reflection

I learnt a lot about the history of planes and when they were first made and flown and who made them. I learnt how to make a good paper plane. I learnt what amount of weight could hold some of the planes that were made. The first planes were constructed by the Wright brothers (Wilbur and Orville Wright). I think that I should make a glider out of the bolser would that we can use and thick paper that is light so that is will be able to lift better.

this is the link to my paper planes task
